At Cascade String Trio, we tailor the music for each ceremony or reception to perfectly suit the couple’s taste, ensuring a bespoke programme completley unique to you both!

We are happy to suggest repertoire, but are also delighted to arrange and organise music chosen specifically by the couple for their special day. All requests are welcome!

Below you will find an example of a programme specific to a church ceremony. This can be altered depending on the addition of voice, time restraints and can also be dependent on the church’s own guidelines in relation to the music being performed. Civil ceremonies will usually follow a programme that is in keeping with the layout of the ceremony as desired by the couple and can be discussed in detail.
Bridal Entrance: Pachelbel’s Canon (can include a seperate piece for Bridesmaid’s entrance)
Lighting of the individual candles: ‘For the Love of A Princess’ (Braveheart)
Lighting of the marriage candle: ‘Now We Are Free’ (Gladiator)
Offertory: ‘The Parting Glass’/’Ave Maria’
Sign of the Peace: ‘Tabhair dom do Lámh’
Communion: ‘The Prayer’, ‘Make You Feel My Love'(usually 2-3 pieces chosen)
Reflection: ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ (can be included in Communion pieces)
Signing of the Register: ‘Wonderful Tonight’, ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’, ‘At Last’ (usually 2-3 pieces chosen here also)
Recessional: ‘Viva la Vida’/’One Day Like This’
